Description
Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP) is produced from pure, natural fresh cowÕs whole milk. After separation of the full cream milk powder into cream and skim milk, the liquid fat free milk is pasteurized, standardized evaporated into a concentrate and then spray dried into skimmed milk powder form.. The milk is concentrated and subsequently spray-dried. The product corresponds with the standards and regulations for food safety and Codex Alimentarius. Additional specifications are available upon request.
Application of the product
Skim Milk Powder is the soluble low fat content milk powder with clean flavour. It is available in 3 heat treatment ranges, low heat (MH), medium heat (MH) or high heat heat stable (HHHS). It is typically used in recombined dairy products, bakery and confectionary products, nutritional foods and formulated products. Moreover, we offer instant skim milk powder which has excellent solublity in cold beverage with larger grain size.
In the food industry, skimmed milk powder is a commonly used ingredient for applications in the following segments: bakery, chocolate, ice cream & desserts, confectionery and dairy drinks.
